what will become of lld101.com once diablo2 has gone the way of the dinosaurs? Crying or Very sad

actually, if d2 dies, lld101 i'm sure will die as well unless zharous comes up with another use for it.

maybe a poll to see how many of us will be moving on to GW or WOW or whatever game, to archive the d2 stuff and move on to another game?
seriously though. ask zhar about it. i very much enjoy this community, and i am sure many others feel the same when i say i'd hate to lose it.

I think that with the way the D2 economy is going (at least on west NL), D2's days are numbered.

I saw a 23 and 25 life pnb gc, going for 10 runes together.
I saw a ~30ish life pnb gc going for 12 runes.
And runes have pretty much decreased 4-5 times in value. Basically, bnet won't be getting much new blood since you either have to have rich friends to get started, or you have to resort to ebay if you plan on pvping. And with all the duping and corruption going on, the vets will slowly but surely start dropping away.

Either that, or people will get so fed up with high lvl prices that LLD will finally become popular and the dupers will come and screw it all up.

But, on the other hand, lots of people don't want to pay $15 a month to play WoW...so since D2 is free, I'd imagine it will be around for a while, though in what condition, I don't know.

East NL has seemed to be majorly slowing down... There's not nearly as many people. I remember a time when the USEast channels would number all the way up to 40. Now they barely make it past 15...

GW isn't free is it? If it's not, then my online days may dwindle... I don't think I should have to pay to play the game.
