Heh, my question is really about why they only show certain events. I'm not asking the network to show all of the events, that would be impossible and too costly.
Personally and this is just my opinion. I'm sick of watching events like swimming. Like come on!?! whats so exciting about a group of competitors swimming from left to right? Granted its a little exciting at the end but for the most part its boring.
I'd like to see something like Tae Kwon Do, Wrestling and Fencing but thats just me. I wonder who gets to pick the events to be shown though, any thoughts is great, thanks!

The opening ceremonies were very...asian. Precision is what they aim for every day in sweatshops and such, and it showed...

heard earlier today that finland had already gained few medals, i think 1 gold and 1 bronze. havent really been arsed to watch any of it yet ~~
but i think i might give a watch when javelin throw is coming, just to see finland fail lawl.

pardon my ignorance, but ive never even heard of georgia until this recent conflict. and even they have medals. but i know annamay pierce (by association), she came 6th in the 200m breaststroke. my sister swam on a relay team with her at UBC. they set a canadian record
