If Obama were to be assassinated, wouldn't now be an ideal opportunity? He doesn't have close as many security as he will if he becomes president. I just don't see the "Obama will be assassinated" as a compelling argument from any way you look at it.

All I care about is economy at this point. I just got my car and gas is a bitch. Minimum wage sucks when living expenses dwarfs over it.

i dont mind either McCain or Obama. i would rather have Obama, but it makes no difference for me at this point. but im positive McCain will win it in the end. i would even bet money on it,

Actually, our dollar is still slightly stronger. It's like $1 US to $1.01 CAN. So we clear a sweet penny every time we spend our money up there.

I'd gladly put money on Obama, except every time I put money on someone they tend to lose. My uncle still blames me for the Yankees cold streak after I bet on them in 2001, 2002 and 2003.

When they asked me at the DMV if I wanted to register to vote I said no...I honestly hate Hillary, she's nuttier than a gross of Grade A batshit. Between Obama and McCain I don't know enough about either of their views to pick one. I really would prefer to have another Republican in there, it aint gonna happen.

Yeah, I was originally undecided, but when the Clinton camp distributed the photo of Obama in the Somali garb she lost what token shred of respect I had left for her. I expect my politicians to lie, to cheat and to steal, but what I find inexcusable is when my politicians are classless. Playing the "Obama's a Muslim" card when she's so far behind it's embarrassing is just a sign of how pathetic she'll be as a president. Hell, even John McCain, who can only *benefit* from that aspersion, quickly denounced the tactic when a conservative commentator laid it on thick at a McCain rally. The next day, the entire RNC backed away from it.

So what does that say when the person who is supposed to be on your side tries something so déclassé that even the other team thinks it's in poor taste?

Obama '08. Woot.
