Ive had the same LoD disc since I bought the game the day it came out. I havent reformatted my computer in quite some time, but my laptop got all fucky and i had to reformat. I tried to reinstall my LoD, but the disc isn't reading properly......i inspected it and found that theres a huge gash through which I can see through.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew anywhere I could download a LoD disc image, as long as you're 100% sure that it is key-logger free.

Or, if anyone would be so kind as to make an image of their LoD CD and maybe send it to me over MSN, I could find someway to make it up to you.

I just need an image of the Lord of Destruction disc. My comp will still recognize the disc and allow me to play, its just that it can't read the data to install it.

If you've got MSN and don't mind sending it to me (itll probably take a few hours) then that would be wicked.

Can you PLEASE make sure that you make the image of your LoD disc yourself? I can easily download an image but I am way too nervous of dling a keylogger.

You can make an image easily with alcohol 120

Not quite sure I know what you mean, when you install the game you get the image right?

No. Basically, when you make an image a disc, it makes a file that is an exact copy of the disc. Then you can use a program such as Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120 to "mount" the image on your computer. These programs make virtual drives on your computer. Then you just "open" the file with these programs and your computer thinks that you have just put a CD into a drive.

yea I already did download a torrent with the D2 CD + LoD CD. It had a decent amount of seeders, but I'm still too nervous to open it. Oleo is sending me an image of his CD over MSN as we speak, so hopefully it will finish transfering because it is a guaranteed safe image Smile

Can't you just use Megaupload or something like that? I think even free uploads can be pass protected.

You shouldn't be worried about opening torrents. Usually, bad/malicious files won't be seeded/leeched.

well, i dont know it allows you to play online, so people may just be using it for single player :S

Anyway, the image that oleo sent me does not work, so i'm still looking for a working image Sad

yea, i did get the second file. The image wouldn't open because it says sectors of it are corrupted.

anyway, i just caved and used the torrent I downloaded.....hope there aren't any keyloggers in it. Smile
