From NCSoft, the people who produced Guild Wars, Tabula Rasa, and City of Heroes/Villains. It's a not too bad little game that sorta combines D2, WoW, and GW, and basically makes fun of the whole thing. It's free to play, but to get access to the higher end items you need to pay 5 bucks a month.

I just started playing yesterday, and it's fairly amusing. From what I can see, you have three basic classes (Fighter, Ranger, Mage), but given that you can respec you skills and stats, and can buy skills from other classes, you can basically hybridize into anything you want. Controls are customizable as well (can go 'point-and-click' like D2, or keyboard movement), and item drops are keyed to specific people, like GW.

i started yesterday...and played for 4 and 1/2 hours.... im a lvl 8 Warrior.

Its quite fun and even more addicting. If your ever looking for some place to blow your time other then D2 try this.

It is kinda fun, I'm *skur on there. Solo'ed the valley and rattlecage in about an hour, got to lvl 5.

im lvl 10... i havent played since ~ two days before X-mas. I think there are better things i can do with my time. Also its lame that u cant use all the items

Yeah, it's a combination of GW/WoW/DII. It's kinda fun. I made a mage. I'm trying to make a warrior, but I'm bored of it atm. I'll play later. :p

I have a lvl 10 mage/fighter hybrid. Only thing it, I am getting wierd crashes whenever I try to enter Alganon, either by main entrance or TP or the Obelisk. BUT the Valley instance is fine, I can enter it no problem.

dont know whats causing that.... i could always get in fine, and im using the free version.

This game gets boring after a while. It takes way to long to level up, and its a pain cause all my good items have like -2 speed on them, so it takes me forever to navigate through the tunnels.

Also gold doesnt do like anything. Its like D2 gold. Kings coins on the other hand are not good. but their hard to find/ get.

It takes way too long to level up? I'm set on Extreme difficulty (one below the max), and I level just fine. Also, Gold buys items, and unlike D2, some of the stuff you can buy is pretty good. (In Townston, not Dew Valley.)

This really isn't a hardcore game for hardcore gaming. It's a fun time waster. I think people that approach it like D2/WoW/GW/whatever are going to get bored of it fast. Play it for an hour, clear a level of a dungeon, then do something else.

Also, gold buys skills, which at high lvls are quite expensive. I am lvl 13 mage now, and solo everything so far, and if anyone needs help with low lvl stuff feel free to send me a tell.

o.o i thought u needed kings coins to buy skills?

You only get ~10 exp for each monster you kill. When you need to get a few thousand exp it takes a while to kill enough monsters to level.

Ive looked in Townston, and there are a few good items, but most are items you cannon use if you don't pay per month. Also having to see the stupid ads every time you go to a new place is a pain.

ive soloed everthing so far. I cleared just about everything until that fire place in alganon lvl 5. I stopped then and havent played since.

mine looks like a female barbarian with a purple Ik helm (and shoulders) a purple sword, and some lame shield.

I got a few things made for me for my kings coins, and they all ended up being purple.
