[Bloody Mess]

I've posted a simular post about this matter but with less info. Heres an update. They are only going to improve on these prototypes that are now on sale to the public. Just like when the 1st car was invented and look at cars now.

In the background of a few of those pics as well as the video you can see an enormous crane... Also as its landing you can see a cable connected to the "car". Although it does not appear to be tense, i just thought it looked suspicious.

The vehicle concept is really quite old, this design/vehicle I think is about a decade old minimum. I say this cos these cars used to be shown on discovery channel, but its been aloooooooong time since i have watched it. I think the main thing is the mass production.
Elton John I believe owns a flying machine of the other design featured in that discovery channel clip.

yeah, its pretty much useless right now.
cool that we have a flying car...but it wont catch on without proof of practicality.

and the crane looks like a safety measure in case it falls he wont die...(or break his prototype...but i think if it falls the prototype deserves to be damaged).
