another thing that might work is killing all your start up files.... Go to start menu > run > type in "msconfig" > click okay > on the general tab uncheck "load start up items". reboot and you should be able to delete some of the viruses.

It's NOT from porn, I only stream that. ^^ I found a forum dedicated to PC help www.bleepingcomputers.com and they seem to really know what they're talking about. I'm going to try that out and see what goes down.

thats actually a pretty good one. As long as the comp is shutting down and not freezing all together from the virus you SHOULD be able to eventually remove it.

As a last resort, we used to have an odd emergency DVD at work for when making housecalls, but I honestly don't remember the name (so you could torrent it but... for all I know it was custom). It was basically an image of a HD with a stripped windows & virus software + a program that ran windows off the DVD like it was normal windows. Then it turned on the HD's and paused them before windows would load (since windows was "already loaded") and scan/remove the virus.

Unfortunately if that program was custom, or if no one has heard of something similar he could torrent and burn from another computer, your going to need to reformat-->reinstall. Although honestly, now that I think about it I HAVE seen a similar DVD program that runs linux off of a DVD for sale commercially..... just wonder if the linux disk would scan/clean a windows drive...?

Well my computer completely died but while I was at work today my mom called up dell and they walked her through how to fix it and she reformatted it so now it works... ILY al!

So, I installed Linux, it's really good but a little confusing. Hopefully I'll get the hang of it soon enough.
