Life leech in dueling should be brought back?

Subject description: join the petition and bring back life stealing in dueling		  
Grr, I know many of us have thoughts in this matter of life leech in duels again. In my opinion it should be brought back. Considering HLD Smiting Pallies are overpowering with their Exiles. And it would help out my lvl18 Jabber against lvl18 Zealers, though it will also help them in return. Still it would add another dynamic to duels.

Anyways just want to hear your thoughts and we can draw a petition to Blizzard to allow life leech in duels again. Very Happy

but thats what makes feral rage, hunger, and cobra strike balanced. If the life leech was still there, how would you kill something that is leeching 100% life every hit?

Yep, all those feral rage/hunger druids and cobra strike sins you see running around right now are so balanced.

Not sure back in 1.09 but wasn't Hunger/Feral Rage and Cobra Strike life leech reduced in PvP? It would be a powerful build indeed but I remember those attacks were quite slow and not viable from my experience. Granted Feral Rage is quite useful nowadays catching runners. Let the petition for bringing back life steal in duels begin! Wink

Cobra strike and hunger are not very effective at dealing damage. More powerful builds with even a little bit of leech on gear would get nearly as much life leeched just by dealing so much more damage, while at the same time being so much more damaging. Feral rage might be powerful, but I doubt it would be anywhere near unbeatable.

As opposed to completely unviable PvP builds?

Squid's right - I'd rather have the damage of a 18 zealot with 15% life leech.

Indeed, 15% leech on an 6000 damage zeal is fury is FAR better then 200% leech on a 500 damage hunger. You leech about the same, and deal way less more damage. This is why nobody made those builds in 1.09

feral rage adds damage though, hunger is weaksauce. also you can charge up feral rage, then switch to fury and keep the life steal bonus

Yea, add life leech to the life tap that smiters already have! In lld life leech wouldn't make too much of an unbalancer, but in hld casters already have to deal with sorb/stacking (which is highly obtainable).

If blizz was trying to "fix" D2 in any way, I'd definately put life leech at the end of the list.

landing a huge zeal DS with 8% LL would be imba for 18s
