happy hardcore not so much

house, certain techno, and more ambient forms of electronic are more my thing

i hate the radio... it plays such bad songs all the time, and if it does play a good song, it plays it like 6+ times every hour and ruins it.

So essentially the radio kills music.

First off I would like to say it's very refreshing to see a variety of musical interests within a group of gamers.

Most of the time when I take a look at a music interest post on a gaming board I see a lot of talk about how amazing Tool is ... or how underground hip hop is where it's at ... or some other sillyness. Not to say I haven't listened to Tool, or don't like some underground hip-hop, but I just get sick of 90% of the gaming community seeming to have the same music tastes. Definately not the case here.

I never have been good with musical genres. Why people sit down and obsess what musical category something falls under is beyond me. What I will say is that I like a wide variety of music.

A few of my favorite artists - listed roughly in order of preference at the moment (notice the word moment - an hour from now this could change - music for me is entirely mood driven).
