lets say I'm a zealot attacking with a ton of cold elemental damage. lets say 1000 cold damage carried.

if I were to facet his shield, I know that the -res% would work just fine
but would +damage% affect my damage?

i believe mastery applies to fire/light dmg charms etc, so i dont see why facets wouldnt? i might test it on single player in a bit, i'll let you know

well, interestingly enough it isn't from charms

the weapon has chance to cast an ice spell and built in cold damage
so i'm wondering if I zeal would the facet add to the built in damage, and would it add to the spell that is cast.

but yeah please test it for me if you would

i know what the weapon is, i was just saying charms, etc.

and yes, it does work. i made a lvl 1 pally with 500-ish cold dmg on his sword, then i made a shield with 400%-ish increased cold SKILL dmg, and his damage increased when i added the shield.
