Introduction:

I hate to be typing a guide that already has been made, but there was someone that wanted to see one Sad. This is a guide for a level 13 Charge/Zeal Paladin. So this is my guide towards a level 13 Charge/Zeal Paladin:

Equipment:

Helmet: 3 Socketed Mask or Crown socketed with x3 9 Max Damage Jewels
Armor: 3 Socketed Light Plate socketed with x3 9 Max Damage Jewels
Weapon #1: 6 Socketed Pike with x6 9 Max Damage Jewels (a nice rare pike with max damage of 100 or above would be optional)
Shield #1: None
Belt: Death's Guard
Gloves: Death's Hand
Amulet: Angelic Wings
Rings: Angelic Halo
Boots: Cow King's Hooves
Weapon #2: 5 Socketed Flail, 6 Socketed Military Pick, or 5 Socketed War Scepter with 3 to Zeal socketed with x5 9 Max Damage Jewels
Shield #2: 4 Socketed Heraldic Shield with 101~121 Attack Rating + 51~65 Enhanced Damage socketed with x4 9 Max Damage Jewels

Skills:

*Remember that this guide requires a Hell Rush

Sacrifice - 6 Points
Zeal - 2 Points
Smite - 1 Point
Charge - 2 Points
Might - 13 Points

Stats:

You start out as:

Strength: 25
Dexterity: 20
Vitality: 25
Energy: 15

Stats with Normal Rush:

Strength: 60 (This comes from all the charms)
Dexterity: 50 (This comes from the gears, but probably might need more for maxed block...)
Vitality: 100 (All points in here, but I'm not sure if this is correct)
Energy: 15


[b]Charms:


For your charms, use enough 5 to strength large charms to be able to wear your gears, 5 to dexterity large charms enough for maxed block (75%), and any remaining spaces with 9~15 life large charms.

edit: max/ar/life or stat gc's are optional for this.

Note:

This build can be made into a level 12 if the boots and belt were replaced with Hsarus' boots+belt, and the gloves with Bloodfist (can't use 5 stat lc's as well).

You could replace the 9 Maximum Damage Jewels with 10~14 Maximum Damage Jewels if you have them, and maybe replace Death's with Sigon's. Also, I think that you could use the Secondary Switch for both Charge and Zeal.

Have one similar but lvl 12. similar stuff but my layout i think works better and is more versatile.

Mask with 3X9 maxers
light plate with 3X9 maxers
weapon for Zeal- +2 zeal zeal ws with 5X9maxers
shield for zeal 65/121 with some decent jewels
gloves and belt deaths
jewelry angelics.
on switch a 42 res heraldic with 4 skulls (atkr take 4Cool
weapon for smite, crushflange
weapon for charge ANGELICS!!!!! *(i will explain)
boots some decent rare boots with fhr and some res

skills
12-sac
1-zeal
1-smite
1-charge
7-might

exlanation of angelics...simple +50 MANA!!!! thats 5 more charges. Sure you do 1/2 the damage. but you can do 3 times the amount of charging. which means more chances to hit and no need to cary blues.

yeah i understand, i was just adding how mine was. Yours would work well im sure, but after alot of testing i think my way would be more versatile and stronger.

NO

Never never never, 5 str large charms should not fill your inventory. Maximum of 9 of those, and that's if you use sigons.

This is one of the rare occasions that using 5 str large charms is viable. Use dex ones too I suppose but only until you have max block, rest of charms should be 15 life LCs.

I thought you would've learned this, but I guess that you don't read through your guides very well. Don't let the statements that I make get confused with a random's suggestion.

5 str/dex lcs are the same as 15 lifers on Zon/Asn/Pally and better on barbs(4 life per vit), according to Arreat Summit.
it only aplies on lvl 13, ofc

He means that each point in vitality for zon/asn/pally equals 3 life. So instead of putting 5 points into strength/dex and puttin points into vitality; you get the same amount of life as you would get for using 15 life large charms, and you'll also be glitched.

This only applies to level 13 because 10 life small charms spawn at level 14. For barbs that are below level 17, they could use 5 strength/dex charms because 1 point in vitality for them equals 4 life.

it is not mine

20% with +9 would be an optimal magical jewel since its reqs are low enough for warscepter/75%block switch already
