Level 12 Fissure Druid |
|
Introduction:
The level 12 Fissure Druid is one of the funnest VLLD in my opinion (not fun against anyone that uses Hotspurs though ). Well, I had some experience with one and this is how I think a level 12 Fissure Druid should be built. You could also call this a life build version of a level 12 Fissure Druid.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Equipments:
Helmet: Rubied 3os +3 Fissure Pelt or 2os +3 Fissure 10% FHR Pelt

Gloves: Bloodfists
Amulet: Angelic Wings
Rings: x2 Angelic Halo
Boots: Hsarus' Iron Heel
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Firestorm - 12 Points
Molten Boulder - 1 Points
Fissure - 1 Point
Arctic Blast - 1 Point
Cyclone Armor - 1 Point
Oak Sage - 7 Point
Option #2:
Firestorm - 12 Points
Molten Boulder - 7 Points
Fissure - 1 Point

Energy: None
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Charms:
x20 level 9, 9~15 life large charms (mana on these would help)

Battle Tactic:
Keep on casting Fissure near your opponent. If he/she keeps on coming up to you, cast Fissure on where you are and just run in circles (while casting Fissure after each one loses it's duration). Also cast Firestorm when you're low on mana and he/she is real close to you. If your Oak Sage gets killed, find a chance to recast it.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Results:
600+ Life without Oak Sage
1000+ Life with Oak Sage
100+ Mana
20% FRW
75% Block (maxed block)
83~97 Firestorm Damage
95~119 Fissure Damage
20% FBR
29% FHR
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Credit goes to Royale for letting me play on his Fissure Druid because I don't have my own. Playing on his Druid let me noticed that I made mistakes on my first attempt at this guide (sadly he doesn't play anymore ).
Comments plz.

Bloodfist may be a better idea rather then broc, due to the 40life/fhr on em.
Also sig boots may be better idea to use for set bonuses rather then hotspurs.

Fantastic. I agree with DFG, get blood fists. Sigon boots also (unless it interfers with your glitch).
There is a technical problem though. I will explain it thoroughly.
SAPPHIRES VS. RUBIES
Sapphires add 24 Mana.
Rubies add 24 Life.
For each stat point into vitality you get 1.5 life. <--- Here is the catch.
For each stat point into energy you get 2 Mana. <--
Your better off putting 48 points into energy then putting 4 sapphires in your gear. Let's say you do that. You put 4 rubies in all of your gear instead of sapphires.
48 of the points you put into vitality you move into energy. You will have the same mana. But do you think you will have the same life? No. You will have more life. You just gained 96 life from your gear.
This is why, there are great duelers. Then there are the ones that always get so close. You don't want to be the one who "almost kills" your opponent.
In conclusion, you should put a ruby in your armor and 3x in your helm. And no points into energy.
Now let's talk about charms. You should first use the least amount of 1 STR SCS as you can so you can glitch (if applicable). That should be only a few with sigon boots/shield. (I think 7?)
You then should use ideally:
5x 12% FHR/3-20 Mana Grand Charms
5x 5-15 Life/3-20 Mana Grand Charms
10x 3-7 Mana/(STR or DEX) Small Charms.
BTW, I love the bold lettering--makes it more eye friendly!
Also put 4 more points into dexterity to get max block with sigon shield :-)
44 dexterity in all.
54 into strength if you have 10x STR SCS to boost it up to sigon shield's 64 requirement.
Rest into vitality, none into energy.

I would go with 15life/7 mana lcs rather then gcs, it also seems like too much fhr with bfists and 5x 12 fhr gcs.

I Prefer a lot of FHR. You could change 4 more of those GCs into life/mana. But I don't think 15/7 is the way to go.
That changes your maximum attainable mana from charms from +270 to +140.
You lose 130 mana. And you gain 105 Life.
hmm 130 mana or 105 life? hmm........
I'll take the mana in this case. But if you want to spend years trying to get all those 15/7's get them.

For druids. Skulls are by far one of the best choices especially with oak sage. Your replenish life is quite rediculous. Also to take advantage of this I would get a 12+replife sceptor (i think you can get this at lvl 12.. could be 14 tho) and a boneshield of deflecting with 2 x eths for mana recuperation (or a 3 eth large shield for when u dont need to block)

Virtuous - I'm confused about your comment. "In conclusion, you should put a ruby in your armor and 3x in your helm. And no points into energy", means that I should only get mana from only the Angelic set and Lenymo?
dragonfire_god - I think Bloodfist would be better than The Hand of Broc, but why Sigon's Sabot (Sigon Boots)?
dsm-hades - I think I'm going to stick with Rubies or Sapphire for this Druid xP. Why do I need life replenish (Think I need more mana regeneration than life replenish)?

Puddles, your mana will come from charms. Also, DSM is right. Skulls are by far the best choice, they add +mana regen and replenish life.
So 4x Skulls should replace the rubies I mentioned earlier.
And on the sigon boot thing, after looking into it. Absolutely no sig boots, the STR ruins it. Use Gorefoot for the 20% FRW.

33 mana, and you gain 105 life (I concluded that you would use 1x 12% FHR GC to hit the next BP).
33 mana is a big deal at this point.
Your either going to have:
Option A--270 mana+mana from energy
Option B--237 mana+mana from energy
At this point, you'd made the best of efforts from your stat points to make life the number one priority (which is what you should do).
Approx. 3.3 mana regeneration per second with 270.
Then approx. 2.9 mana regeneration per second with 237.
You lose over .4 mana regeneration per second. That's more than a 13% loss in efficiency. With this efficiency level and not taking oak sage into mind, and the charms, need not forget, you should have a health value less than or equal to 444 life before considering option B.
Option A is the obvious choice due to mana regeneration, and it seems about right. After this character is made, more calculations will be necessary to determine whether hard points should be put into energy.

That I could disagree with, you really don't need the fire resist from the boots, and Gorefoot gives you about 12-13 more defense. Every little bit helps.
Keep Spurs in stash though.

Bloodfists over Hand o Broc for sure. 1 Vit point = 2 life. 1 Energy point = 2 mana. Brocs give 20 mana, bloodfists give 40 life and a bunch of other whoopie stats. Rubies and Sapphires give the same result of stats in your gear, but I would go sapphires with all points into Vit. By going vit you ALSO gain stamina, seeing as you are a caster you are going to be running alot. By going vit and sapphires you balance out the mana and life and also get a stamina boost!
