Will items shopped in hell/nm get max sockets from larzuk even if they are magical? Also will magical items turn the color of the jewel put in them? thanks.

No, they will get 1-2 sockets if they're magical.

Only white items and crafted items will change color when you socket them with gems... not when you socket them with jewels.

lol...when i was typing that i said to myself "make sure you say 'gem' not 'jewel'" and i said jewel anyway...gah. Thanks for the respsonse.
