I'm presuming that it'd be allowed up to lvl 30.
If you went full out with FCR..

20 Gloves
20 Circlet
30 Armour
35 Insight

You hit the 102 breakpoint, and with insight, you won't run out of mana?

Has this been tried? Does it fail horribly?

(Incidentally, if you can think of a way to hit the 174 BP...)

dual mb claws
2x fcr/mana rings
20% circlet
10% amulet
30% magi
20%gloves
5% from fcr belt

you can hit 102 with that setup......much better damage.

I have a pure mb sin, she does pretty well but i'm trading her off so i can wrok on other projects.

One of my friends tried this as a BM side project and it was a nuisance more than anything else, with the duels usually ending in a stalemate when he ran out of mana pots (hence the BM part). I don't expect many competent duelers to have problems with the build.

Most decent trapsins I have seen on ladder use insight switch to mb and make 102 fcr with. So its probably not going to kill anyone decent, but it will be one of the most annoying chars ever.

Using an Arach etc, so a high level character..
Is it possible to hit the 174 breakpoint?

crafted ammy. and either way, even if he used a 10 fcr ammy he'd still hit the 174 bp

You can feasibly craft a caster amulet of the apprentice. These have 5-10% cast rate from the variable mods, plus 10% cast rate from the apprentice suffix.

Because the 10% FCR suffix is so low, it is possible to get a level 30 amulet with 20% FCR. Unfortunately, because of the way that crafting works, it's impossible to get a 20% FCR amulet with +1 skill tab.

You'd be 10% off from getting 200 fcr for a level 30 sorc then...

A barb could get 200 fcr though.
