i use hero and i don't find it hard to make items.
the only problem i have is when it comes to set/unique items. hero doesn't come with an Item Library and i'm too lazy to look for one so i end up just making the set/unique items by hand.

Yeh, just MastaDex's HE (ZF99) should work. Uniques and sets aren't *too* hard to make, but they can be a bitch if you're inexperienced with the HE script. Hell, if you're l33t you can hex your stuff o_O.

note: Jamella and UdieToo are kinda crummy compared to HE.
I can pm you a link to all that stuff if you like.
Fell free to pm me any questions you have about using the HE script. I'm an avid Open dueler.

to let u guys know
B[x] and i tried like mad to join a game with one another..

we coulndt.

its very frustrating but it seems the firewalls might be the culprites. (atleast that makes sence to me and other on OPEN said the same thing)

however turning them off means access to our computers is a risk (right?) anyway fyi do not share info about your connection open on these boards as its public information

many of us are behind college servers or have modem with built in FW
but those who can create games without firewall protection have the ability to host games we may all join.. we sorta need these people to help. but there connection status should remain out of public knowledge eveyone

god that was annoying, heh.

bob-marley, remember how you couldn't join games that i made? well, i think what Jerkazoid explained is the reason. however, since i was able to join your games, you might be the "neutral" host that we need. i tried contacting you via b.net but you weren't online at the time. if you're interested in being a host to our SP testing sessions, PM either me or Jerkazoid.

also, if anyone else isn't behind a firewall (or is behind one that will allow us to join your games), post here because we could really use you guys if we want a VLLD ruleset worked out.

well, jerk and i were able to meet up in public games made by someone else. the only problem with that is when the host leaves, everyone else gets kicked.

The problem with hosting open b.net games is usually port forwarding.

Make sure port 4000 is open on your computer, and you'll have no problems hosting games.

can you explain how to do that in layman's terms for those that aren't so computer savvy?

in other words, me. Sad
