Few Brit bands, dunno if you'll like but oh well
INME (crushed like fruit)
McFly ( a few ok songs )
The Verve ( bitter sweet symphony, drugs dont work, both good.)
Oasis ( any of the older stuff )
Stereophonics ( Madam Helga, Bartender and the thief)
Manic Street Preachers ( again any of the older stuff)
Toploader ( Achilles Heal, Dancing in the Moonlight)
The Darkness ( download I Believe In A Thing Called Love, they've like a modern version of Queen, and they just happen to live about 20 mins from me lol, they played out the end of the European MTV awards so they're quite big over here )
Gorillaz ( download Clint Eastwood, great song )
Space ( Neighbourhood is classic )
Just a few you may/may not have heard of across the pond

Trapt is fucking awesome,
anyways brand new is good so is tbs, but go for more of the older brand new songs, they might be more your style (try songs like "jude law and a semester abroad" or "seventy times seven")
another pretty good band is matchbook romance, and the new used cd is freakin bitchin let me just say that now. Also look up zebrahead, you'd prob like the cd MFZB.
edit: try hawthorne heights also, and atreyu and killswitch if you like the more screamo/nu metal/ etc category

i have both those songs. also have the following gorillaz:
rock the house
tomorrow comes today
19-2000
on a side now, i think that Gorillaz has some of the funniest/randomest videos ever.

i know brand new and they're not really my style. the only tbs song i know and have is There's No I in Team.
by killswitch, do you mean killswitch engage? if so, i've have The Element of One for awhile and it's pretty good. i was thinking of getting other stuff by them but i was tired.
also, i noticed from browsing around other people's shared folders that a lot of people had Atreyu. i was thinking about dling it just to check it out but now i definately will since i have a recommendation.

i use soul seek. no pop ups, no advertisements, no spyware. and its by FAR much better than any other program out there for lesser known music scenes (black metal, death metal, gothic metal, etc).
if you;re looking for porn, stick with kazaa though, nothing more than music videos on soulseek.
