low level trading forums are for lld items only. either lld items must be ft or iso. it seems strange that threads such as this:

are allowed, as it obviously seems to be more of a currency for high level items thread than an lld for hld thread. this is nothing against outlaw, it's just that this thread is the most recent in a few. i'm sure i could take the time to go back and look and find others of similar nature.

they're all basically the same. the iso is high level items. the ft is 15 lifers, sojs, and something along the lines of "various lld gear." no mention of any of the lld items that are available ft.

it just seems somewhat nonethical to me for this to be allowed, especially from a mod. it just seems these threads are showing up more often these days and being allowed to run free. yet someone who posts a bump something like 5-10 minutes early gets a lock. 5-10 minutes? i know it's a rule, but if the whole one half of ft/iso must be lld can be skirted by offering sojs or 15 lifers (currency) rule can be bent a little, why can't the 24 hour rule be bent slightly as well?

also trading lld items for high level items is just the reverse of hld for lld, its perfectly fine.

offering currency mainly or vaguely offering lld gear for them seems borderline to me, though. and you, being a mod, can prevent people from taking that proverbial mile, as someone posting at 23:58 after their previous post could be given a slight bit of leeway.

OutlawHeaven has locked for a one minute bump, and I've locked one of Zolas' for a 23 hour and 51 minute bump. We're evil.

You could also look at this situation the other way, however. What if someone had just heard about lld, but the only extra item they had was a +1ss/40life gc? They would pretty much be looking for 15s and "Random LLD Stuff". On another note, what if he has extra 15s and wants to distribute them to the LLD community rather than let them sit on a mule?

We're not going to attract a bunch of people who want to only trade things like infinitys and coas for sojs, I don't think it is inappropriate to trade hld items for lld items like in J's case (or in my case).

this thread is not intended to be a discussion of the bump rule. it's meant to be a discussion of the ethics of this currency for hld issue.

it's just a very vague offer. if someone new came and did the same thing, they'd get jumped on. this being the case, anyone can make a thread saying "iso hld item/ft sojs, 15 lifers, lld gear"

most people will go straight for currency. it's basically just typing in "various lld gear" being used as a catch all for any trading done in the forums.

I am left to question the same thing, I don't think you should be allowed to stretch the rules in that way. I would be irritated if I was locked for 1 minute early bumpage. I was just recently locked by OutlawHeaven for bumping after my previous bump didnt respond to the servers. Although it was later in the day. Mods shouldn't be able to get away with things like that.

This is a LLD forum; I think it's ok to include maybe some high level items in your ISO. But just tacking on the words, "random lld stuff" to your FT makes it legit?

I have never seen anyone get jumped on because they offer HLD items for Sojs and various LLD items. Since sojs are LLD currency, they are allowed to be traded.

There's no reason for this thread, since no rules are being broken. I have traded HLD items for Sojs on this site, why? Because my LLD Foher needed 2x sojs Rolling Eyes

Its not like he has 1 thread iso hld gear o sojs and another iso sojs o hld gear.

This is a LLD trade forum. You cannot trade high lvl stuff for high lvl stuff here. You must either be offering LLD stuff for LLD stuff, or offering LLD stuff for HLD stuff, or offering HLD stuff for LLD stuff.

So long as it involves items that are considered LLD, I don't see why there's a problem.

And when i said, "random lld gear", thats exactly what i mean. The items, well at least in my eyes, that fall under the "random" lld gear, include but is not limited to, the items in my For trade list/s, my lld characters, and items i just recently aquired, but did not update yet. I've probably have gear that i don't even know i have, until i check.

The reason why i put random lld gear is because I'd much rather have someone request what they want, and see if i have it, and then if i don't, i'll just offer currency, both sojs, and 15 lifers.
