It's been my experience that lots of fhr is necessary when competing with zealots. I'd go for a 2os rare shield with fhr and deflecting mod.

ed/ar/stat jewels are your best friend for socketing your weapon/shield

if i use bloodfists instead of sigon's gloves, i'd lose like 20 ar and 100 def but gain 10 hp and hit the 5 frame fhr bp. does that sound like a better idea? (have to put more points into bos too i guess

edit: i'd need lvl 6 bos. that means i can either get a shadow warrior or fade (skipping on WoF). i'm thinking warrior would be of more use to me (can i use it in melee arena duels?). and btw, someone suggested dtm jewels. good idea?

one last thing, what is good ar and dmg for a lvl 18 kicker? i should have about 4k minimum ar and ~140 damage when im done (%ed jewel in my shield would add a whopping 4 dmg. gtfo)

6/9stat jewels are lvl28
4str/6dex jewels are lvl14
but I think socketing the shield with 20ed/50-60ar/10-12dtm jewel/s is better for kickers.
use 2x +1 shadow claws for prebuffing bos so u can invest those skills to somewhere else.
I dont think fade for a lvl18 kicker is a good idea since u'd never want to lose bos..
bos/fade builts should be made seperately and they are more like for lvl30 kickers. (someone pls correct me if I'm wrong)

I had (sorta still have) a lvl 15 kicker. It was a pure dexterity build and I got my life from charms. If memory serves me correctly, she did approximately 175max dmg per kick and had over 5000ar. Ed jewels (which only add dmg based on the BASE dmg on your boots) weren't as helpful to me as using +str/+dex jewels. Kick dmg is affected by BOTH strength and dexterity.

If i can temporarily get my hands on another tarnhelm and sigons gloves/belt/boots, I can give you some more specific stats for comparision.

Dmg to mana jewels WOULD be helpful, but keep in mind the angelic amulet/rings will give you dmg to mana as well. In most cases, the high dmg hits that you'll be taking from the other typical lvl 18 melees (zealots and barbs) will keep your mana ball full.

in my shield i put ith (15% dtm?)

that works wonders for me

i have nothing in my wep yet but i am planning on putting P amythest for the ar other than that your gear is the same as my kickers, and i fair well vs the 18 zealots,

you will have more life then me... as im not using all 15 lifers (most are 10) cause i cant afford them, but right now my life is 906
so just something to shoot for give you ideas of where you will sit,
i think my dmg is like 130, but that doesnt matter that much cause its the cb and ow that does the trick

and yes the wof for stun is nice...i seem to have noticed that when im dueling the 18's its usually close, then i use wof and when they finish shooting my opponents life is at about half and im still at full.

i think a 5 range weapon would be better on switch than 2x 1 shadow claws. but i guess i could always just keep the 5 range in stash for when i need it and swap it for my flange/swordback. i guess i should finish grushing her and see how she does (gear shouldnt be hard to get)

also, for my 5 range weapon for dueling smiters, nobody has given me any input (i think ive narrowed it down)

also, i have 2 skill points left over. i have max dt, 4 in bos (6 with my claws), 1 into shadow. so do i do 1 in fade and 1 in tiger strike for fun? or 2 to getting wake of fire?

i see. i have 1 last (for now) major question. should i use:

option a) crushflange with a 21 ar, 4 str, 12 dtm, -15 req jewel, and a 4/6 stat jewel in my swordback.
option 2) pamethyst in my crushflange for 150 ar and a 4/6 stat jewel in my swordback.
option III) pamethyst in my crushflange and ith rune in my swordback for dmg to mana.
option four) 4/6 stat jewel in my crushflange and ith rune in my swordback

edit: i went with option 2 for a single player build and i ended up with 1188 hp and 4637 ar. so i think thats how im gonna go, unless someone convinces me otherwise. and i'll use bloodfists for the 48 fhr bp, 4 bos (6 with prebuff claws for 7/3/3/3 kicks), 1 in shadow warrior, but i STILL dont know what to do with those extra 2 skill points. where would they be most useful? im leaning towards wof right now. or maybe put them into cloak of shadows?

my 18 sin is striped but i might put some time in her if i finish my secret project Twisted Evil

well, you're a bit off in terms of lvl 18 kickers. you cant upgrade any boots to wear them at lvl 18, greaves are the best you can get. and i have 4.6k ar with my pamethyst, and i love it Very Happy my friend's conc barb is at 3.8k or so, so i wanna keep my edge on him. nothing else really appealed to me in terms of items. i already hardly need any stats to use my gear
