Do bash barbs needs AR? |
|
Do I need a lot of AR on jewels for a bash barb or will he have high enough AR with weapon mastery and bash bonuses?
Should I use 9max ~30AR jewels or 14max jewels?

bash barbs need quite a bit of AR which is why i made a complete max/ar military pick for mine.
+53max (7 to 67 final damage)
+221AR
+30%ed

isnt that always the case. the saddest story about the godliest LLD items. always on peoples mules collecting dust, with the true potential value never known. however in this case, the potential is known.

How much +AR from gear should I be aiming for?
I'm thinking a pick with ~220 like B[x]'s a couple or 80AR rings and 1 GC with 12%fhr ~40AR
Do I need more, or can I socket my helm/armor with non AR jewels?

get as much as possible. ar > dmg. if you cant land the hit, you cant do the dmg, so theres no point in having huge dmg and no ar.
if you only have max jewels, put them all together in items, so you can evetually replace the gear as you go.
ie: put all your max/ar jewels in 1 item. put all your max/ed jewels in your weapon. put all your high 11-14 max jewels in 1 item. dont use a 14max with a 9max.
