I'm in search of a magic (MTG) game or program that I can play my friends online with. A name or link would be appreciated. (hoping to find one that I can build my own decks with)

MGO, Magic the Gathering Online, however you have to buy cards with real cash to play... so I wouldn't suggest it.

Could I just bootleg cards and the program with programs such as Azures? I just want to play with one person it's not like I want to go all out and buy stuff you know, we found a program which was a beta but the lan connection was messed up and we couldn't join hosted servers. Just want a program I can play one friend with and make a cool deck, considering I don't have any money at the moment to buy real cards, only stuck with the ones I have. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. =)

I have Magic the Gathering Online for some reason.. lol

I really doubt you can download cards online, because there's some type of system which lets you exchange online cards for real-life cards (they can mail them to you)

Maybe you can only add cards by buying them from the game's shop site? I'm not really sure..

When i was in elementary school, and was bored, i would just play MTG over the phone with my friends. The honor system worked, because there was no reason to lie. However, each game did take a long time, and sometimes was taxing on my memory.

He doesn't own any cards himself and doesn't want to pay money for any so that wouldn't really work. Oh well, maybe the beta will be updated soon on the program we tried using earlier, so the ip matchup would work.
