A few extra advantages, my point exactly.

Takes alot more skill to be good with a controller.

Well, the fundamental "skill" element of the game doesn't change. It only takes more skill because it takes more physical dexterity and practice in your hands to pull some of it off, which is in a way sort of seperate from the game itself.

Back to the mouse vs keyboard argument...

I am pretty damn good at Halo 2 and I can definitely crouch, strafe, jump, bounce around, throw grenades all while getting head shots with a sniper rifle without zooming. And I'm not even that godly. And Knifer, if you use 10 sensitivity like I do on Halo 2, you can turn around in the blink of an eye. I don't really know who I am agreeing with, but the controller to me seems more realistic because it really does feel like you're moving around with a gun, but with blinders on. The PC fps like Quake and Unreal are really unrealistic in my opinion. Counterstrike I'm not really sure about though. I've watched a friend play it and it seems pretty realistic (he's a damn good sniper too).

I mean I think it's just what kind of games your grew up with as a kid. I grew up with consoles while Goky may have grown up with PC games. Whatever you grew up with feels more realistic to you as you watch it gunfights and such in the movies.

I also grew up with consoles, but I played Half-Life and it's various mods for about 5 years. That'll do it to you.

Grim's right. also, I don't contort my hands awkwardly when i play an fps on console and, with a controller mind you, i've crouched/strafed/jumped off a ledge while shooting someone in the head before.

I hate ddr.

Ever play DoD Goky? I played on and off for a good bit and it seemed a quality mod to the Half-Life name.

morrow wind loks real crap. i dunno why people play it, they seem to have fun hacking away at a little worm witha knife for about 5 mins only to die against it

Morrowind is a quality game. It has an insane number of quests to do and you can log in hundreds of hours on it without putting a serious dent in the game, so to speak. You get pretty godly eventually and the game gets kind of montonous after you get full daedric and constant life replenish.

People that die against the weak creatures, just don't understand the concept of making a character in Morrowind. The game's graphics were decent at the time, and the combat system could use some tweaking, but it was still a GREAT game. People rave about the combat system in Oblivion and say it's 10x better than morrowind, but in reality it's the same except faster and they added annoying blocking.

Counter-Strike and most of it's offshoot advances.. (came to late to the trend)
Warcraft3 (same as above)
redalert 2 (onwards, the first few were fun)
worms armegedon (worms 2 was as fars as i went)
skateboarding games... (kinda unrealistically lame)
MYST (just so boreing)
Any game you continuously pay to play.. (just personaly against the idea)
sim-zoo (I actually liked the sim's till this one...)
Civilization call to power. (crappy wanabe)
Civilization 3 (great let down)
Solitaire (waste of time, play minesweaper instead)
Battlefield Vietnam (just didn't compare to battlefield 1942 and its DC mod)
some more but couldn't be arsed anymore :p

<-- firmly a mouse an keyboard fan. Kudos to you console users but you would be beaten anyway you look at it in a mouse and keyboard vs a console battle. But then again I'm not saying cos you like one over the other makes you a) better b)more skilled c)cooler d)more realistic.

You can use a mouse with some consol games.

And neither one are more real than the other. You want real, go to the arcade and play Area 51, or that Japanese one with the motion pad.
