Woot, I'm starting my booster collection for MTG right now Very Happy.

Already bought and awaiting shipment:
Legends Booster
Revised Booster
Arabian Nights Booster


I'm just wondering if anyone collects anything different with MTG, like squirrel cards or specific artists.

why?

the card store near me (Shinders) was going out of buisness and was selling everything. I got it for i think it was $55.

also, you can buy single beta's for 7$ or less at some places.

It's not impossible. Back when I played M:tG I started right as Revised and Legends came out. You could still find Beta stuff at that time (although it was rare), and I knew people that could and did lay their hands on boxes of that stuff.

Hell, back in the states I *still* have my old cards sitting in a box (never found a good buyer). I have a few Betas, lots of revised and Legends, and even Arabian Nights, and the one before it, with Urza's stuff. (Antiquities? I can't remember.)

I stopped around... Visions, I think. Maybe before that. I still have a whole mint set of The Dark - not that it's worth jack. (Other than Ball Lightning, I guess.)

Yes I know people have Beta cards, I know it's not impossible. I around revised.

But when someone posts on an internet d2 forum that they have the P9 (Sure, I'll give them that) and then an unopened box of beta..., right.

I also have a complete set of Summer (Edgar) Magic ,PSA 10!

i dint say i had all the p9, just a few, and no i did not buy them.

my cousin (yes, my cousin) used to do turnaments with a b/u controll and a b/w stasis, he got some power 9's, and when he quite he sold it all to me for 100$, it was 1 black lotus, 2 mox rubies, 1 pearl, 1 saph. im looking for jet and emerald (cheap... lol) and the rest of the power 9, if i ever get the full set, i will be happy (shuold make it power 10 couse Force of Will is godly) and yes its still possible to buy unopened box of beta, i kid you not, i just got fucking lucky. If u cant understand it, then dont.

Yes I saw an unopened box of beta not too long ago on Ebay, but I still don't believe you have one yourself.

Force is strong, but when comparing to some other cards... it shouldn't be a P9. Hell, fireblast wins games more than force.

hell, i one a 3way with a Flare once.....

Counterspell, Foce of Will, Stasis, Lightning Bolt, Dark Ritual, Sorceress Queen, Norrit, Serra Angel are the real P9 in my old school opinion.

I could understand bolt and force... but Norrit and Serra? Sorry, only reason Norrit was good was because of Royal Assassin. Serra Angel was ok, but imo Thunder Spirit is much better.

Because they have made better fliers for 5. I used to love Serra..., but she just doesn't hold up in most white decks.

i have hundreds of old old oooold cards sitting right here in my closet at home. Most of them are revised, unlimitied, 4th and 5th. I think i have a few Beta, and a fair ammount of mirage, tempest, ice age, stronghold and a few others.

I can list a few off by memory:
