MY bad on that one. lol. No, he's full cat, but he responds to things like a dog would. He knows how to sit and heel on command. It's quite entertaining to watch him respond to a whistle, and then follow me all around the house only because I whistled. Laughing

My cat serves me breakfast...in the form of a well-placed hairball. Actually there was this one time when my cat ran outside during a thunderstorm, and then the cat SOMEHOW climbed UP the wall, up and over the indent of roof that sticks over the wall, and onto the lower section of my roof. I was watching tv, and then a nice big thunderbolt hit. Then my orange cat started meowing at the window. I looked out, flash of lightning, and I see another one of my cats. GAH, scared the living daylights out of me.

Sorry to everyone who happened to be eating something when reading that first line...

My cat fetches, drinks from the toilet, and sits on command just like a dog too lol. But mostly he kills birds. He has literally killed more birds than I even thought existed around my home, I get about 1-3 dead birds per day on my doorstep. One time we got an entire family, 4 little baby birds that didn't even have hair yet, and then the mother bard beside them all dead. But I guess he got what was coming to him cause the other day while he was trying to kill birds he fell off my roof and broke his hip.

that's so sad, i have 4 cats myself. had 5 until 9/11 when one was hit by a car. had 8 cats at one point when the cat that was hit by a car gave birth in '96 to a litter of 4. we gave 3 of them away because cats are too high maintenence to have 8 of them running around.
oh, i also have 2 birds and a snake at the moment. i had a turtle but it ran away (it's a long story). i usually have a few fish floating around but for some reason i don't right now. i also have a few mice in a cage now and then if the snake didn't want to eat his food.

::sigh::
heh, it's not really that long, just embarassing that a turtle ran away.
anyway, one hot summer day i thought, "that turltle needs to get out of tank more often" so i bought him one of those little kiddie pools (like a 4 foot diameter circle). i get it home, fill it up with water, put a couple rocks in the center, and toss him in. this goes on for awhile (i brought him in the house at night) and all is well. on that fateful tuesday, i was reading a book outside and it started to rain mighty heavily so i run into the house. now, i had made sure that i didn't fill the pool up too high so that he could climb out. unfortunately, the rain caused the water level to raise just enough for him to hop out and scamper (slowly) away. i didn't remember that i left the turtle in there till a few hours later so by then he was long gone.

either that or someone stole him.
but honestly, who goes into someone's backyard during a downpour, grabs a turtle that's just sitting in its pool, and runs away?

maybe poor old donatello is still out there somewhere though i doubt it, he was old when he escaped.
