I've recently come to love a certain type of music. I don't know how to describe it all, but these are bands or songs that have the type I like.

Help me out:

Peter Gabriel ( Signal to noise (Possibly my favorite song.. ever only one I've heard by him, downloading more as I type this)
E.S. Prosthumus
Gangs of New York (Any of their non lyrical stuff)

Keep in mind I'm not sure if these songs are correctly labeled.. I just downloaded more peter gabriel and it is all shitty and sounds NOTHING like Signal to Noise.
Basically I'm looking for unique instermental music. It can even be classical or orchestral, whatever, I don't care. It could be fucking bagpipes as long as it sounds good.

Try Godspeed You Black Emperor! or Explosions In The Sky if you want instrumental music. Or be a man and listen to some Mozart or Tchaikovsky (I prefer the latter). Liszt, Rachmaninoff, or Beethoven are also good, but you really need to dedicate some time listening to them to fully appreciate them. For easier listening, however, I suggest Moya or The Dead Flag Blues by Godspeed - basically anything by the first two bands, really, but those two are my favorite.

The first two are noise, 100%, i don't think you'll like, or understand but give it a try. The third one is very artsy, and the last one is good instrumentals and such.
