WHAT: All Level 1-30 Caster/ranged Tourney

WHY: If you havent tried lld before, its amazingly fun, you MF the "not good" items in nightmare max. Its more about build than it is about gear.

ENTRY FEE: none, of course.

PRIZES: 5 high runes for the winner donated by me, but always accepting donations.
I dont give runes to the first loser, so thats where donations come in.

Tourney Rules READ THEM IN THEIR ENTIERTY

1. The tournament is double elimination - you have to lose 2 different rounds to be eliminated from the tournament. Rounds 1 and 2 will be done simultaneously.

2. Frozen Orb, Teleport, Slow Missile, Bone Prison, Decrepify, and Clay Golem are not allowed. I am not going to list them, but melee attacks with the exception of thrown/shot/ranged attacks(including dragon flight) are obviously not allowed. If you don?t understand this, ask.

3. Characters may be glitched through hell difficulty to include all skill quests and anyas.

4. Only field prebuffing is allowed for warcrys. Once you field prebuff, you may not go into town, not even for mana. You may not switch gear from your stash to prebuff and may only use items you are wearing or on switch.

5. You are also not allowed to hold equipment in your inventory ? it should be filled with charms or scrolls if necessary.

6. Items with chance to cast on striking, attacking or being struck ARE allowed. Should not be a factor.

7. Duelers will start at enough distance from each other so that auras (if any) do not affect the other dueler.

8. No charges from items are allowed whatsoever.

9. Mercs are not allowed. Minions from skills are allowed up to 10 total summons(except clay golem).

10. No potions whatsoever are allowed. Belts should be emptied for gear check so it can be displayed in the trade window leaving the idscrolls on the ground. After the check the ref will watch you pick up 4/8/12/16 scrolls from the ground.

11. Str bugging that prevents you from picking up your full inventory without using an item from your stash is not allowed. Stacking gear by str, ie using gloves to wear armor etc, is perfectly fine, but you should be aware that this could limit your ability to change gear.

12. Refs will check gear including charms of both players b4 the match. All inven spaces should be filled. Ref will str bug check by killing both contestants before first duel and by killing the winner after each duel.

13. There is no limit to stacking resistance. A maximum of one of the following may be used during the duel: Hotspur, Venom Ward, Infernostride, Nokozan relic, or Hawkmail.

14. No switching characters during tourney. You can switch before the tourney starts but need to let me know.

15. Gear switching between rounds in a match is allowed but you may not leave the game and must show the new gear to the ref.

16. Spectators will not be allowed. Only 3 ppl in the game.

17. After the first 2 rounds duelers will be power matched - better record duelers vs. worse record duelers. Consideration also will be given to the records of those you previously dueled and repeat duels will be avoided.

18. Matches for the first 2 rounds will be the best 4 out of 7.

19. No leeching off of monsters or using shrines.

20. All matches will take place in normal difficulty.

21. Simultaneous deaths are counted as a draw and should be redone.

22. Eth non-indestructible nonrepairable items are NOT allowed.

23. Pure chargers will be limited to lvl 27. Any paladin may use charge as a means of movement. But lvl 30 caster pallys take note that if found to be using charge as an attack on purpose will be Disqualifies (ie, there?s no reason to have a bonesnap on switch) Please don?t try to exploit this.

24. Duelers are limited to Blood Moor only and must not enter town once the duel begins.

25. Duels that lag for one or both players will not be redone or stopped. If the game lags during your duel, that?s tough luck for whomever it affects most. If you actually get disconnected in the middle of the duel, it counts as a loss for that duel. Otherwise, someone could log off while they were losing and claim lag.

26. Gear changes must be announced to the ref immediately following a round in a match. If both players want to change, the ref will let one change first and have the other wait.

27. 3rd party programs such as maphack are not allowed. If a ref deems necessary you can be asked to take a ss immediately and post it up after your duel. This may potentially require a restart of a duel but I will leave it up to the ref to make sure this is not abused and will clarify this rule in the next couple days. Bottom line is, don?t try and use it.

28. Slow from items is not allowed.
