WOW! if that had ias...jeebus... and i've referred to this thread 3 or 4 times when trying to show people that what they are iso doesn't/can't exist....stickied would be wonderful so I don't have to search each time

I gambled a rare handscythe with a high level char, 92 to be exact. What level should I reroll it at to bring it down to what I need, and more exactly, what level to I need to bring it to? So, the ilvl is about 96, I would venture to guess. starting with a lvl 1 reroll... (.4*1)+(.4*96)= 38.8 Is my aim about ilvl 42? [for some reason, this seems very familiar, like I, or some one else has asked it before...oh well] in that case, I may as well wait a few levels to roll it, and then use a char to stabilize the ilvl. Right? at level 9, the ilvl would hit 42. [as far as my calculations go] |

I guess my aim would be +2 traps. With staff mods of mind blast, and wof. I just comprehended the table on the first post  I see I need the 5th tier for the mb and below, but what about the +2 skills?

incase you dont have this info http://members.iinet.net.au/~dcarson/shopcalc.html http://diablo3.ingame.de/spiel/expansion/itemdb/affix_index.php?lang=en&version=lod&patch=111 shopping the lvl 30 hand scythe is ONLY able to be done in act2, Nightmare difficulty from Elzix (the gamble NPC in Lut, near sewers) they cannot be found in act 5 bc Anya does not sell the hand scythes(lvl30) type two ways to do this shop with char lvl 55 makes ilvl 60 hand scythe odds for +2traps or +2shadow = 1:498 X handscythe chance%= total = .0254% about ~ 1 in 3900 chances shop with char lvl 85 makes ilvl 90 hand scythe odds for +2traps or +2shadow = 1:636 X handscythe chance%= total = .0259% about ~ 1 in 3800 chances odds are slightly better with high level shoppers for these items due to the change in chance for affix vs the chance for exceptional item _________________ Magic missile doesn't kill people, wizards who cast magic missile kill people.  |

alright, i dont really understand or want to understand all this i just want a straight answer wat my clvl should i have for my following question. i have a damaged hand scythe i want to imbue, im hoping for 5ls or 5claw mastery(if possible) what clvl should i imbue this on, and when or if i upgrade the quality does it change the mods? and if so would i do on the same clvl or a different one? _________________ Miyamoto Musashi was born June 13th, 1584.
