the entire east realm, not just on diablo 2, has gone down. its down on wc3 and other blizzard games.

if you are on east, don't try to connect, its pointless. it will stay at connecting to fastest server.

this is not the ladder reset. blizz said they would give sufficient warning before they reset it. this is probably a glitch in the realm. west and other realms are fine.

EDIT: UPDATE!!! blizzard says this is just a crash in their system, they will try to get east back up ASAP.

it has been almost an hour for people who didn't know.

Looks like im gana have to go play some spiderman2 and web sling for about 7 hours. --> just kidding.

but i dont have spiderman2.

And yea.. i have a friend who web slinged for 7 hours. --> not kidding

I went to play on my West account, and all of the West channels were filled with a bunch of lame East people flaming West nonstop. They mus have been really bored if they would rather go onto a place with a lvl 1 char just to flame people instead of actually getting off the comp and doing something, anywho i thought it was funny and it made east look pretty pathetic. I was ashamed to say I was from east after I saw literally 7 people just in one channel with names like "westisGAYYYY" just being noobs and flaming everyone because east is down. Anywho I jus tthought it was weird and I wanted to say that sopmewhere, and this seemed like the best lpace to say it

true, you cannot join/make games. you still have to wait at least a few more hours.
