for some walk throughs (so u dont waste HOURS looking for the wrong thing in the wrong area) i go here
http://wow.allakhazam.com/

place is full with data for prices, locations of npcs/mobs andquest info.

also be aware that things like Ctmod, or cosmos are NOT considered cheats.. blizzard pratically encoureges u to use some of these 3rd party UI mods.. (not BOTS though)

also if u have friends with Ventrilo + a talking server i 100% recomend u download it too (its free);... u need your hands to play,, (dont occupy your game with typing at important moments)

i recomend a pvp server with medium to high population. get used to being griefed though.. seriously .. but this will be a better end game choice

do not play WoW solo style,,, u will burn out if u try to single too much.
its worth it to group, even with idiots, atleast you can learn what not to do early on.

most of the time your char is locked to its server it was created on*... your account will be free to make chars on any server u choose.

*here is the faq link for char moving
https://www.worldofwarcraft.com/account/charactermove-faq.html

heres the current realm status link
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/serverstatus/

PVE = little to no griefing
PVP = plenty of greifing once u leave your factions areas
RP = pvp server for true RolePlaying

also like GW, wow mandates u do your job, and do it well once u start trying to conquer the higher level instances.

as an example u can basically catagorize your role in most tough fights as such
Warrior = KEEP THE MONSTERS PISSED AT YOU + fight
all others = support the warrior

if u try to curse hurt or add another monster and it aggros onto you,,, the team should let u die,, u always try to focus on one monster and the warrior better learn how to keep the mobs aggro on them.

also there really isnt a best team setup... however in most cases a varied team is better then a tea of all 1 class.. iv had this disccsion and its possible that a team of druids or paladins (maybe shawman too) would be the best single class team.. but imo a very varied team is a much much better idea then this

so if u play with friends 5. the ideal setup really is along these lines
1 warrior. (sometimes shapeshift druid) = the main focus for monsters
1 priest/druid = to be a GOOD healer + some dmg and crowd contrl
1 warlock = added curses + crowd control + soul stone(resurection)
1 mage = More good damage Smile (or shadow priest)
1 rogue = damage and stunning or pala/shamen (tank + heals)

also (for what its worth), what iv learned from some guilds who been playing since beta is (given good ideal gear + gaming ability)
shadow priest = #1 pvp
druid = #2

this is likely 1 vs 1 ofcourse
dont know the rest

oo, i think thats a bad combo of jobs. usually you want two jobs that compliment themselves.

ie:
mining and blacksmith
herb picking and alchemy
fishing and cooking
skinning and leather work

Until you're level 40, I'd suggest 2x gathering-oriented professions, mining/herbalism seem to be the biggest moneymakers on Shattered Hand. EVERYONE skins, so the market is always flooded with leather.

defiently stick with a combo that compliments itself..

chanting is fine on its own,, but not alch. alch needs herbalism.. youll break your bank hard if u try to AH herbs.

chanting + a gathering skill like mine or herb will be ok.

money making is good for starters.. herb/mine is defiently gonna make u wealth.

those are secondary proffesions, along with first aid.... and u can have all 3 of em.... so u might as well pick all of em up

have u started instancing yet?

Mining's incredible money from the get-go, judging by prices for ores and bars in the auction house.

If you grind a lot, which you will most certainly do the higher you get, you will want as high of a first aid as possible. Trust me.

i dont follow you.

i use first aid alot bc i can root and dont want to use my mana to heal when i can just bandage 1000 life in 8 seconds.. its just another option that helps, so i suggest having it.

but why would one need 1st aid for specifally grinding so badly? and where? wich grinding? pvp ? loot?

SkullCrusher has some of the best PvP out there, also the alliance economy is excellent compared to any other server I've played on.

I have the following chars on skullcrusher:
Alliance:
46 Rogue, 44 Hunter, 36 Mage, 28 Warlock, 23 Warrior, 7 Priest

Me and Cancerofdabowel also play horde on ShatteredHand
I have the following chars on Shattered Hand:
28 Shaman

Come play alliance with me! We have a very good pvp community.. lots of raids. lots and lots. (That's when 40 or more people get together and go fight 40 or more horde basically)

BTW, I have like 500+ gold on Skullcrusher, I can lend and help you do anything you want. Plus I have tons of 40-50 friends who aren't too cocky and busy doing the end game instences to help out.
