ok i started and have ni clue what i'm doing. i'm guessing get loads of miners first and just build up? offence or defence first?

well, i got attacked straight away and lost 50k gold Crying or Very sad

I'd re-set your account then, so you get your gold back. Get a little of everything when you start. I got 5 miners, 9 offence, 9 defence, 1 spy, 1 sentry when I started.

its ok now, lvl 5 and i attacked people 20 times and won about 500,000 gold ^^ just go for people with 200k + gold who have 0 army

i attack people with 25 million gold wout. Razz

depending on what strategy you use, at lvl 5, you should be getting a LOT of gold if you are attacking smart.

look for people with little to no population, and small army, but with a big gold stash. use a spy, and spy until you find out their defense. if you have more offense than them, wipe them out. if you have a LOT more offensive than them, use more attack turns, youll get more gold. if you only have a little bit more offense than defense, use only a few-1.

are you going all offense, or all defense?

and dont level too fast. i found that out the hard way. i forgot about the 5 lvl attack rule, and now im lvl 7 and cant attack those lvl 1 cash cows i preyed on. its alot harder to find easy targets at lvl 7

mainly all attack. its about 2000 defence about 500 yea i'm lvl 7 now and i just found out ive been attacking people with 100k gold and no army then i looked at another page and theres lvl 3's with 2 million gold and no army><

edit: how do you guys get your population up so high, mine goes up hell slow

honestlly the truns are worth more with the exp you gain than the gold you lose screwing up or getting attacked resetting is a last and distant option

yea i decided to just keep going and save up. i think i have to build more houses but i jut got an extra 10 population somehow, i'm still learning^^

i think you might have to upgrade in the armory. thats what i spend all my gold on and i have 5 soldiers doing about the same dmg
