about MF.. as u might know effective MF suffers from dimishing returns with rare/set/uniques (also there is a new thing with mf that limits your effective MF for uniques when the items Qlvl is close the monsters Mlvl. {or atleast its something like that.} )

ok let me just make this easy without too much info:

AFTER 1000 runs
with 500% mf NM andy quest drop will land u 2.55 spirit shrouds
with 200% mf ud get 2 shrouds

you shouldnt "notice" a difference.. if u did its just luck.. the real price for mf only shows up with 1000's of runs,, and its just way easir to specialize in killing and not spend so much on that much MF

the diminishing formula is different for rares and sets.. but its still there.

again.. 200-300 is all ull ever "need". if u can have 600% and still do a run just as fast it will be better (after a couple hundred runs)

check out ATMA.. its has the most accurate MF calc, infact id say its 100% acurate.. unlike ALL of the other ones out there. it is easy to use and u can quickly check some stats on the info your asking for other bosses and get a good ball park idea of whats going and where to hunt

ps ATMA is a utility much like tha affix calc online. it is not a hack in anyway. in no way does it effect the way diablo runs.

I;m on my super laggy computer, so i can't do much tonight besides some a1, so I'll be on *Belarathon lvlingi n a1 if anyone comes on and has any spare mf items they could lend Smile

(p.s.- The char I'm using is a fire sorc for mf) I hate how I can't hell rush my chars when I make them on west. I'll have to obey the rules over here! Oh well more fun I guess and I don';t have to bug people for a rush

heres the odds for ... whitsans guard from Meph (quest drop trick.. {not bug})

0 mf = 1/531
200% mf = 1/245
500% = 1/186

after 1000 runs
200% = 4 guards
500% = 5.3 gaurds

as u can see sets dont suffer as much.. but its still there.

What if I was doing hell pindle runs and looking for say a unique diadem or unique whatever, elite uniques, what are my chances for those with 200-300 vs 500ish?
