Ahh.. I bummed. I found my old collection of Magic cards, and apparently I disassembled my deck of squirrely death before i stopped playing. I did, however, have a strange deck pre-assembled in there, which I'll share for laughs:

If I remember correctly, I was trying to make the most improbable deck possible (and I had sold off many of my good cards), so the idea was a cheap deck that allowed me to toss out a crapload of small creatures that generated mana or buffed each other, then Armageddon, Winter Orb and Ankh of Mishra to lockdown opponent resources. At the time, the trend amongst people I played with was for big creature and resource hog decks, so this was surprisingly effective despite how generally not-good it is.

However, my favorite games we used to play were Dragon deck games. We'd get five players, and each player would randomly draw a multi-color dragon from the Legends series, then built a deck around the colors of that dragon.

Ahhhhhhh, I loved M:tG in my high school days. Yes, I was a nerd, but hey, still am so it's all good. Started playing about the same time as Dao, with the Legends release, maybe a bit earlier, I caught the tail end of "Unlimited". I guess that'd be second edition, with "Revised" being third. My favorite deck of all time is my black/white deck that revolved around Pestilence. Probably very easy to counter now, I haven't played the game at ALL in about 7 years, but in it's heyday it was quite a well-rounded deck, really only lost to pure red burn decks. Which are probably outta style now, too, but oh well.

Still have my set of beta moxes and lotus around somewhere, should sell them if they're still worth anything.

near mint to mint lotus can sell upwards of 500 on ebay and i believe the moxes are somewhere around 250+ last time i checked...

god i used to find these cards all over school back in the day, made some good money selling them, still have a ton and have a basic knowledge on how to play never really got into it, we usually just made it into a drinking game, making someone drink half a beer for each life point lost if we felt like taking it easy or doing a whole beer so we get smashed...

i know i have my deck i played with somewhere i played white and black which worked prety well for the most part

Squirrely death...I remember facing 8 5/5 squirrel tokens, 3 12/12 krosan beasts and a couple squirrel mobs (stronger than the krosans...), when I pulled out my Wrath of God and wiped the board clean and wiped his grin away =/

Dao Jones, look on ebay. People buy old MTG cards all the time. The new players don't because they are into Type 2 tournaments. If you have any of the older sets, like Legends, Arabian Knights, Unlimited, or Beta you could sell off those cards for a nice price.

Some Combos:
Unnatural Selction + Creatures + Rush Airborn Aid = Cards
Day of the Dragons + Dimentional Breach = All your original cards in play and you opponent has none
Frozen Solid takes of the Heavy hitters
Wingshards storm for alot of damage to any attackers
Sandskin + Ironfist Crusher = Can block all creatures and takes no damage
Spirit en Kor + Ironfist Crusher + Sandskin + Can redirect Flying creature damage to Cursher and nulify damage
Opt and Ransack are Deck Stacking cards.. they replaced Flash of Insight to lif my Decks dependency on a mana engine

all the creatures except like 2 cost 1- 3 to cast so i can swarm with flyers early on anyway

Unnatural Selection + Cryptic Gateway lets me get any expensive creatue i want into play by just taping two creatures.

im about a few months, ill be attempt for the pro tour qualifers, i need a decent extend deck, any1 got 1? Tooth and nail is so fukin over rated.

Diggup the oldest underrated combo deck you can and slam everyone because they wont be expecting it. Or build an infinite life engine and just win like that.... or a mill deck... there are some great mill cards in Scourge and Judgment... Raven Guildmaster and Scalpelexis can really kill the opponents deck in a few turns... and in Traumatize and its over or finaly my personal favorite super large combo:

Wirewood Channeler + 2 Elves + Prodigal Sorcerer + Pemmins Aura = Win

Just use pemmins on the channeler to generate infinite mana and then tap and untap the Socerer until there dead

I still play iIve been playing since 5th grade so I've got about 5 years of experiance.
I am currently playing with a deck in which you would be able to use in the touney and it seems to be effective because no one expects a wall to kill them. Anyway I'm not going to give you the exact deck but I'll give you the combo and stuff.

The combo is Wall of Blood and Grab the Reins (This is the best site for looking up cards imo. www.cardkingdom.com ) This is a black/red deck you will need to play alot of burn, the object is to play wall of blood but you need him alive so dont be carless with him. Then you'll also need at least 1 more life than you oppenent. Ok heres the play: Jeff has 19 life and you have 20 you play wall of blood, the if you have the Manna to play play grab the reins in the same turn pay 19 life to the wall making it a 20/1 then use grab the reins on the wall, bam jeff just took 20 dmg. game over. This sounds complicated but it really isn't.

So here's the review: have at least 1 more life than your opponent play wall of blood then grab the reins the bam game over (4th turn win)
