Why do I want to have 0 mf when doing quest drop andy runs? Also, what gear is ideal for a zero mf sorc setup (blizzard)?

0 MF to ensure the highest chance of getting rares instead of set/unique items I think.

For gear, just outfit it like you would a dueler. Nightwings, Skins/Ormus, Arachnid's/Snowclash, Lidless, Fathom, SoJs, Silkweave (?), Mara's/Crafted ammy. Of course, if you are just running NM Andy you could get by with just about any gear as long as you have the mana to get there. My fball sorc has pretty crappy gear and has no trouble getting down there and killing Andy in 2-3 hits with a 5k fireball. Then again, Andy has low fire res too. Wink

thanks, and just to remind myself: to get permanent quest drop i just have to do every act1 quest in order?

yes, with a character that needs to do the quests. then when you get to andy, i beleive you;re supposed to use a different character to kill her.

then you make another game with the first character, and use the second to kill her. and so on.
