take advantage of the block everything (almost lol) skill and the fact you can run and block with the claw block skill and take no penalty and the fact you can get a ton of damage or get mods that are only on weapon items and not on worthwhile shields (ie cb, ow, ds, etc) ww sins most of the time rely on damage from ow, venom, and cb to hurt peeps

You get more blocking from a shield than you do from level 20 Weapon Block, which is my main concern...

pesky necro spirits? chance to block.
frigid sorc frozen orbs? chance to block.
druid tornados? chance to block.

if i was a sin, id take claw block over a shield any day.

not only that, but you get twice the amount of skills with 2 claws, than you do with one. whodathunkit?

and just to ensure people hear this right:

u do NOT block smite with a shield.. yet the sound and animation will ocasionally play,

smite is blockable ONLY with claw/claw (and dodged/evaded by zons) .. yes all those spells blocked, thats a huge advantage for having a claw/claw setup for dueling imo

wait is this pvm? even still. only c/s when u need it bad

when i made my ww sin i made her as a pvp style, like vs zealots and such and i used the ww for runners like bowys and such, charge up on ts, df then ww their ass to the grass.

i went shield becuaes i had to block when it's 1v1 frontal contact melee. but i quite her at 69, no relevance, becuase she was neglected and boring.

ok this came up at dii and sokker and i tested it,, this other pal was like "its physical so its blockable" but we all "knew" it wasnt

so sokker and i played around with it.. and everytime the animation played (+sounds) i took dmg..

people on other forum said it was cause they were a sin and had c/c on swtich and perhaps it was bug.. hey come to think of it was it phyre who posted that in dii? dont recall 100%

but it was my kicker with c/c on switch and i took dmg.. so i dont beileve it yet

Bel's smiter has level 1 HS and level 1 Smite, no damage aura. So perhaps it was just a really small amount of damage.

Next time Bel gets on when I'm on, we'll test again.
