Well right now I'll have 3 lvl 9 imbues, 1 lvl 16, one lvl 30, and a bunch of hogh lvl ones, ah wel.. that's life.

What's your opinion on my oyher questions?

well. the thing about 4 sock armor for smiters.. im not too sure.. i guess ud want the +68 life from rubies,, u dont need dmg bc that doesnt Xfer into smite. never made one,,

i think what Solartje posted probably is the right way.
yeah i think slow xfers.. i have dueled some BM smiters and i HATE it when they use a slow weapons or clegs gloves.

the scimitar can be shopped with .. a lvl 5 in act 2. but to get silver or mechanics it needs to be with a char lvl... 9 (shops sell at clvl +5 and u need ilvl 14)

-20wsm is the base speed of the scimitar (negative numbers are faster)
it will take u a few hours though to get a silver (or mechanics) of quickness

-30wsm is just about the fastest melee weapon,, but only exceptionals or elites reach that speed.

Well, Silver won't be much help, neither would quickness Confused

of readyness is lvl 5, so I could go for that and hit -30 on the saber

However, I can't find the affix for ctc amp, do you know what it is?

a sabre is not as fast as scimitar, the 10ias wont help, you will still be at 8Frames

because you weren't very helpfull, cshd. Jerkazoid, the plan is gnasher to kill things, with a ctc amp weapon on switch.

with a base -20 weapon with 10% ias on it, + 30% from sigons/deaths, I can hit 7 frame smite:

i gotcha.. Gnasher wont hit 7 frame though, u know that.

what is your smite dmg exactly?

still think blood cresent migth be better

gnasher to crush + open wounds..
then switch to cresent for more open wounds and speed.

So, i'd be better off using crushflange (33% cb) to hurt them, and blood crescent to finish them off?

my pvp dmg is negligible, like 3 after penalty.

the crushflange is just as slow (wsm 0) but since it will ast crush more often go with that

and see even with amp, your finishing off dmg is probably more to do with Open wounds.

they could have about -2 dr and really be immune to most of your hits. (it would only make sence to use that when they get to about 25 life)... and people will run away when u cast amp on them (atleast they will learn to start doing that)

iv never tried it before, my gut says finding a good rare amping scimitar wont help (or be as easy to get) as just a blood cresent for the last 25% of their life finishing.

Ok, that helps, I'll use the crushflange untill they're wounded a bit, then switch to blood crescent to finish the job. Now I just need good lvl 9 charms/rings/ammy and a rush and I'll be set!

Why not use that horadric staff axe? It's flashier, and I think it's faster, and you could socket it with something nice O_o

But when you crush them so much you can use the axe. Then again Crescent has better mods...

my level 9 assassin had 66%fhr like most lvl 9 assassins, and it had near 450 life, and it still died to a lvl 9 smiter using gnasher. I really don't think you need to worry about all this speed and whatnot for a lvl 9 smiter you're thinking too hard about it. just put on a gnasher or crushflange and a spiked shield with deflecting/dmg to mana mods and whack the person. the one i dueled just had that, some stat rings and ammy and the first time i got him to 3/4 the 2nd and 3rd time i neevr hit him with all my fhr and hit and run tactics. the first 2 hits he got on me brought me to almost half. it only took him about 6 hits to get me to 1/10th life then 5 hits to finish me off at the end and with his stun it was too hard to win, he used 4 socket gothic with flawed rubies. i've never seen him online since that day i have been trying to catch him online for th elongest time to get him to post on here, but i can't find him.
