lauf, ive heard it all(for standard, and this year's extended) . I realy doubt u can tell me stuff i barely know. my friend and i have done play testing. I know the grab the reign's and wall. I just need someting that is fast enuff or can control that long.

I mean but like turn 5-6? u can a kiki=jiki and sundering titan, and thats like 3 basic lands?!@ down..

Why is everyone listing cards that haven't been tournament legal for 5+ years?

I live with 3 ex pros, but like most successful Magic players, they turned to poker to win the big bucks. I havent played for many years myself, but I can tell you that 4 x Demonic Tutor has been illegal in every format since around 1996.

yup i play, not that bad either... cant wait 4 that new set to come so mirrodin cycles outa t2. they completly killed my intrest 4 artifacts in that block... but this new one ravitica or w/e is suppost to be freakin sweet

1 month bump..eww...anyways, just made this deck and it has done very well so far, I am 100% pleased with it. Though it is a bit on the expencive side.

I havent used anything new and i never got into the official rules i only entered alot fo local tounrys and seem to come out pretty good in the end i havent gotten worse than 4th place yet, im using elf deck basicly its an old priest of titania, overrun/vitalizing wind deck, very quick play gets some decent life using wellwishers, but normally i win by the 8th turn depending on the cards i draw.

I used to have a reacurring nightmare deck, 50% first turn win, but it was stolen, and because reacurring nightmare was a banend card anyway i couldnt use it in tounrys =/

I love MTG though i just dont like the new crap.

I had a friggin awesome deck that i used to play with in a few tournies around where i lived. It won a few times Pretty much the combo is Ensnaring Bridge and Grafted Skullcap.

I had 4x grafted skullcap and 4x ensnaring bridge in the deck, so i pretty much got the combo out by turn 4.

Incase you're not familiar with the combo, this is what it does:

The Ensnaring Bridge is an enchantment which reads "Each creature with power greater than the number of cards in your hand cannot attack".

The Grafted Skullcap is an artifact, casting cost 4, which reads "At the beginning of your draw step, draw a card. At the end of your turn, discard your hand."

So, as soon as i get this combo out, none of their creatures can attack. The deck is stocked full of low cost burn cards, so i pretty much just nuke the hell outta them with spells until their dead.

i havent played this game for at least 4 years (i stopped around urza) but i remember i made an awesome deck. it used shocker, hermatic study, howling mine, and grindstone and it was basically a discard deck. i remember my friend saying something about megrim but i remember it didnt fit inside my deck.

i built some elf decks, some green horde decks, burn decks, discard decks, stasis decks, even tried cocoa pebbles
