that is the correct answer. if he sentenced him to either 6 or 4 he would be contradicting himself.

If the statement was true he would have to be sentanced for 6 years which in the question if it was true he would be in there for 4 years. So by saying he would be sentanced for 6 years it can't be false but it also can't be true since if it was he would be in for 4 years.
