first the question. if i get the jade statue with a character, and then give that jade statue to another character, thus not completeing the quest with the first character, am i able to get it again? it may seem like a silly question, but im asking specifically so i may make a character that can do all 3 difficulties jade statue runs so that i dont have to fuss over it with my new level 9 duelers.

now the warning. i tried this cube formula today, on a hunch that it would delete mods. it does.

1 Eld Rune + 1 Chipped Gem + Low Quality Weapon = Normal Quality Weapon of same type
ilvl = 1. That is, regardless of what the ilvl was beforehand, it will be set to 1.

1 El Rune + 1 Chipped Gem + Low Quality Armor = Normal Quality Armor of same type


so be warned, if you have say, an ed/ar shield, but its cracked and you want to set it to normal so it has more base defense, the ed/ar will be erased. tried it on a cracked fanged helm with +taunt +1 axe mastry 6 defense. got 10 defense and no skills after. now i may be foolish, and not realize what the bolded part is saying, but does that mean itll have no mods?

You cant use hell items in a norm game i dont think ;/
(Such as wirts Leg and Staff for act2)

Actually it's the other way around. You can't use norm items in a hell game or nm game.

Oh and Voices is right, I did it with one of my divine scepters +1 conc and got a +3 might +1 prayer instead Confused

your chances for added mods are probably lower,, (way lower)
but i think the most important and acurate answer i have is; the quality of the mods will be from the lowest catagory

so ull be getting junky 10% ed shield. or +1might scepters

i didnt mean getting it from 1 difficulty, i meant having a character that could get it from all 3 difficulties and then giving it to the level 9 in those difficulties.

yeah give it to the lvl 9 and leave the game,,dont worry the high level can just keep getting it over and over, its a smart idea.

actually, the best mods you can get on a paladin shield ilvl1 is +5-10 res...
the only reason this is, is the fact that mods on the shields recquire a certain minimum ilvl.

Does the upgraded quality recipe work on already socketed low quality items or have to be the white colored variety?
