imam up my bloddfists like someone said, and i also got a holy grim shield 2 socketed off some kid yesterday in a baal run game. its lvl 27 with like 250+ dfense. would that be a good shield? |
no, tower shield has more blocking for a druid, than a grim. and an artisans (3 socket) tower shield of deflecting is better than a 250 defense grim of deflecting with only 2 sockets. you arent a defense build.

Should max Lycan first. |
that all depends on what route you want, and what charms/gear you have.
there is no set rule saying what you should max first, if you want more life, get lycantrophy, if you want more ar/ias, get werewolf. i myself am maxing werewolf.

With my hld fury druid I always cast the oak behind me while facing my opponent, that way if they go straight for it, I always get some early hits in, if you know how to cast it, it should work to your advantage whenever someone goes for it first.

in my experience, whenever i cast a sage, it always floats right into the middle of battle. since i plan to be fighting zealots 90% of the time, itll most likely die in the first round of hits. to me, its not worth investing skilsl into, which is why im looking for a helm with +oak sage. but to others who plan to use it alot, it may be worth it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but using a 6 shael'd naga, you hit the 6/4 frame fury with a low level werewolf anyway.
Definitely switch out your helm for a nice +3 fury one, or, if possible, +2 shapeshifting +3 fury 2 os (but good luck, I've only heard of two and seen one of them).
Level one fury is low damage, but it rises very quickly as you pump points into it. This is why using sojs and +2 shapeshifting/80 life amulet is very useful if you have the charms to support your AR. If you choose not to take that route, you need to get your damage from elsewhere, which is why I'd stick some points into HoW and mix it with Lycanthropy (since you already hit 4 frame fury, you want high life to counter a zealot's higher damage) to have decent life and damage. When fighting a defensive build, then you can switch your gear to Angelic ring/ammy with a soj, or two Angelic rings.
At least that's how I'd do it.

you pump werewolf for the AR, not the ias. though the ias allows you to use 1 less shael. atleast in my case it does.

are there any specific reasons your using it? i know its 10 ias faster, but will that even save your a shael? if it does if you use a 11 or higher max jewel you will get mroe dmg then a naga

7/4/4/4/4
apparently i was under some misleading info. i thought that it would be hitting the highest BP and now i see i was wrong. im not the most knowledgable about multiple frame attack speeds (like fury and kicks). so maybe ill look into a 6 shael naga.

but it also requires 27 more strength than a crowbill. meaning 54 life lost, before wereform.

id say its worth it. my druid uses a naga and has over 2k life in werewolf form, plenty imo.
