i think on the trade forums, one warning should still be given for the 24-bump rule, AND/OR give a reference to the profile option to adjust time display on forums (+7 hours for West coast) in the trade rules sticky so that there isnt confusion. i have personally been screwed by this twice now, and finally figured it out on my own.

really?

we thought about it. and the answer was decided a long time ago. the answer is NO. jason used to give warnings, but then he just got tired of idiots waiting for the first warning, so now there isnt anymore warning

flat out sudgestion: in FaQ or in a sticky somewhere put "+7 hours on time display in profile = west coast time, +10 hours = East coast time, 8/9 = mid america, etc~" might save a lot of people a little time

do people not read....

how about this. u write out this FAQ for us, and ill ask sean to put it in the new user q&a section?

and if u do this, well then future members can be grateful for your hard work. and if u dont, that just proves that your lazy and u just want someone else to do work for u. i can see the clear choice here....can u?

Q: The time stamps on all my posts are not the same as my local time. How can i fix this?

A: In your profile, there is a time zone setting. Set the timezone according to where you live, and the time on posts will be synchronized to your local time. Because it is based on +/- hours from greenwich time, the -7 hours setting is accurate for those people living in the PST zone, and -4 hours is accurate for those living in the east coast time zone (U.S.)

how does that sound? Smile just trying to help Wink

P.S: just checked it again, realized i was wrong before Laughing but info in this one is accurate
