Hi,
I am new to this forum and so I'm not sure of protocol...I just became interested in LLD and was wondering if anyone could tell me what the easiest LLD starting char is? Also, what build/gear would i need to follow/get? thanks for your help

i don't do nething more than vlld ne more. so i'll just say lvls
vlld lvl equalities go like this
9-10
11
12-13
14-16
17-18
reason for the lvl changes are becuase of the gear and charms changes that creat such a big change. like at lvl 11, fine grand charms come into play
and at 12 angelics comes in,
and at 14 is the fine large charms
and at 17 is the 15 life sc.
but u can probably mash them into more broad catagories. and this is just my opinion, even though it has very good background not anyone could agree.
um. i don't duel more than 9's ne more.

easiest is a lvl 9 TS assassin.
Just use 15 life large charms
biggins bonnet with max jewel
27 max armor
2 naglers
umbrall disk with max jewel
deaths belt/sash or bloodfist
hotspurs
3soc scissor katar with max jewels or the -30 claws
gotta go so just do something around that and you'll be pretty strong, it's not the best gear but it's decent for someone just starting and pretty easy to get

I don't LLD, but wouldn't a 90 ar ring with like, 4+ Dex on it be the best possible ring for VLLD? if it was rare, with some Max damage maybe, or resists..
The +4 dex would work out to be more ar, right?

+2 is the most str or dex could be at that level.
95 AR is most (80silver and the +1 light radius mod)

+2 isn't the msot for lvl 9 O.O i have had 4 dex on a lvl 9 ring and i've had 5 str on a lvl 9 ring before, and godz-lld are you sure you would group 17 and 18 together? o.O 18 gets 15 to max dmg jewel or 20 to max dmg jewel if they're lucky... all 17 gets is 9 to max dmg hewel or 14 to max dmg jewel if they're lucky

+5 dex ring lvl 9 ....is this from an older patch?
both .09 and 1.10 have +2 as the max for lvl 9 rings
the affix calc uses the patch data and has never been wrong from asfaik:

it shows that might and skill are alvl 21 and 22 too high for lvl 9, but the alvl 5 has +2str +2 dex range possible
also the arreat summit even has this info as well, two places, one i regard as solid )affix calc), the other i regard as sorta solid (AS)

I just said some easy stuff to get, naglers easy to get decent AR and a little less damage taken , of course if you already have like a 90 AR ring or something use it.

Crafted rings give +1-2 dex/str or something like that. Paired up with other mods...

but u could never craft a lvl 9 blood ring with its +4 str potential.. it would have to be lvl 13-14 at least

But it could have its +3 potential and +2 other mod? or you get +2 and +2=+4. Maybe there's a bug to exploit

nah, your mod calculator is just wrong thats all... i found the ring myself in 09 it had 80ar/4dex lvl 9... and i've seen 5 str rings on patch ladder in 1.10 on a lvl 9 smiter

req highest affix req + 3*affixs
so 4 affixs with a lvl 1 mod would be: 13
i am shocked about the +3-5 i have never seen one.
