i was looking around bnet and some other sites like diabloii im so far making a mid lvl dueling barb not sure if i want him ww or pure conc...
i wanted to hear from your guys opinion...this is so far what i have on my barb witch is a WW barb currently

Wit hthe right ik stuff and some ias on the wep, I've seen some damn fast swinging for barbs. Depending on your level, I'd suggest a highland blade for below 50 and then a balrog for 50-58. I'd use kingslayer if you can get it. That open wounds is sexy. =D Also, I wouldn't do the warcry gcs. I'd swap for max/ar/life charms when you can find them.

If you are going with a Yari barb switch out the Arreat's Face for Guillaume's Face. You will need the deadly strike and crushing blow. I would replace the war cry charms with life charms and/or damage charms and get a +2 war cry ammy and two +2 war cry swords on switch for pre-buffing before duels. I have a level 40 Yari barb that has 2560 life and does about 1480 whirlwind damage. You will have trouble with well built pallys and barbs over lvl 47.

If you want to go to level 53, use a King Slayer balrog blade and swap in Gore Riders for the IK boots. You can also get a +3 war cry amulet and two +3 war cry swords for pre-buffing before duels. I would also use a Saracen's Chance amulet and either dual Ravenfrosts or Dwarfstars depending who you are dueling. I would also recommend swapping out the Shaftstop for jeweler's armor of the whale socketed with 30% ED jewels. Again, I would swap out the war cry charms for life and/or damage charms.

Just my .02 cents.

I agree with Bad_luck, you should probably take a shot at getting some sort of life/damage adding armor. But even if you are going to use a Yari instead of a sword, I would keep Arreats in your stash for the resists/FHR.

I would Look for a rare sword with nice cruel/quickness/fools mod if u can get your hands on it. a Phase blade is nice but then you have to go to 54 with the terrible dread of needing 135 dex (thats if u dont -reqs it). Look for a Highland/Balrog Blade with over 300+ 1 hand damage and other nice mods and u would do nicely. If u want the O.w of King slayer thats fine, but having a rare wep is much more fun and special Cool

Here's the problem Owl. Just how often do you come across a rare like that? Also, the 135 dex isn't too far from the dex needed for max block usually. I'd still stick with a balrog blade for 50+ or a highland blade for below 50. Overall, they balance out very nicely wih damage and speed.

Oath is only a ladder rune word. If he is off ladder he cant use it. Also, you dont need Arreat's Face for the FHR. Guillaume's Face and the partial set mods of the IK set give you 55% FHR. I think the last break point for a Barb is either 56 or 58%. Either way you only need one charm to get the last break point.

Me Personally I do prefer Kingslayer over oath but although i never seen a real oath before Razz

Kingslayer May Not have the xtra Dmg / Ias but the cb and ow ar does help in the end
