On my current zealot he uses a 40s gothic plate filled with maxxers. I was wandering if it would be more viable to use a 30s breast prate so that my max str on the character would only have to be 55 instead of 70; thus giving me more points in vita.

So, in a nut shell does the extra vit points> that one socket

I have 6x 6/48/6 GCs max/ar/str; therefore, I wouldnt have to spend a point in str at all.

You could also consider using max/-req jewels in a 4 sock armor. Even ancient armor only requires 40 str if it has 4 -req jewels. If my math is correct, using 3 max/-req jewels and one plain maxer should produce ancient armor with 55 str req. Or stick with gothic if you don't need defense, and you may be able to use one less -req jewels, depending on your target str.

Those grand charms won't help on a level 15 unfortunately.
