as you suggest i would go for

Vbsod. 2 +dmg jewels
DTM is still nice to have, but there are builds that use crushing/OW to dmg and this will hurt your mana supply.

if u dont have mana/life sc's get some for this type of fight.

a rare 30%ed circlet with FHR (2)sockets and mana will be optimal, 70%ed total. +1 to passive also good idea, can add 2-3% crit, as well as 15%ar
using good dmg/ar/life lc's, + eth warjavs etc this will really add up nice. if u can get dex/fhr or any other suffix that would be nice.

A; never. That is a garbage suggestion.

the visonary mod (at level 18) is +18% ar *additive* so it just gets lumped in with your 90%ar from jab/pen'. (+1 passive would pretty much do this but not give the 2-3%crit) its a very poor choose adding very marginal effect. even with a FHR second mod that is not helping on a 3 hit RollBack skill, (not anywhere as much as blocking speed and we all know blocking speed is not as much an issue either.)

the armor effect from -190 inner sight kills characters defense, its applied as if you lowered the persons armor itself, before anything like def auras or barb shouts so the +def% skills amplify its results!

your ar is NOT an issue due to your basic cookie skills/items already
your dmg, life and mana are priority as always.
3os mask with 60% or +45 max is better

also you can probably gamble a 21-30%ed circlet just as quickly, larzuk socket, get a better benefit with ed%jewels here and make a 70% helm.

obviously rare circ with all those mods is ideal. good luck.

Well, it hasn't been updated in a year and a half. I removed the link to this thread from the stickied thread a while back when I started on a completely new guide, but never got around to finishing it.

How you managed to find the thread is beyond me...haha.
