Recently I moved in with my friends, the first time I've lived on my own. It's been going great so far, it's been about a week now really enjoying the freedom and new responsibility's. I've been working two jobs as a cook at two different nearby restaurants and learning to play the guitar on my free time.

Just curious as to what other people are doing and how their lives are coming along. Smile

Still working for the Gecko... and trying to install D2 on my comp, Vista seems to hate me.

Oh well, not like I'd play it if I install it anyways.

Lunch tomorrow happens to be quite important, governing, you could say, whether or not I get into my preferred college.

Well, I've just started my final year of Cegep (Quebec College). Not quite sure how things will go after that point.

'Grats on living along, for better or for worse I suppose. I've lived alone for 4 years now (yeah since I was 16) but now I can't imagine otherwise. It was more of a forced decision anyways.

I've been playing Counter Strike 1.6 on my free time, and I'm usually organizing something with the Smash Community. Last weekend I hosted a major Smash tournament, every Wednesday I organize Brawl weeklies at a game store and manage their leaderboards (which I created), and I'm planning to host some in-school tournaments for newer people interested in finding out more about the Smash Community (this will be my 6th in-school tournament).

Otherwise, I just go Rock Climbing Smile.

I'm planning on eating healthier and getting into slightly better shape this semester so I can improve on my bouldering skills (Rock Climbing w/o harness).

I think that covers things.

That's cool I'm trying to find someone to take my Sunday shift so I can go to a magic tournament and try out my red haste deck.

Grim, vista hates everyone. You need to play D2 in window mode if you want to play it. Otherwise it freaks out.

It's always exciting to hear things are going well for everyone. Moving out on your own is a really cool experience (well it can be at least!).

Anyway I got married this summer and I just started working towards my PhD

I lost my D2 disk though, and I don't even have that much video game time these days Sad. When D3 comes out I'm going to take a week off from whatever it is I'm doing, play 19 hours a day for 7 days, and then throw the disc in the fireplace.

Sounds good, as long as you don't use the fireplace.

The Vista beta a joke... my network discovery option was enabled (it wasn't supposed to be in the beta), I couldn't disable it, and it'd find my neighbor's connection through my roommate's computer since we were connected, and he has a wireless adapter... so my computer doesn't have a wireless adapter and would attempt to connect automatically to my neighbor's network through a wired connection and then would shut me off from online and I'd need to restart to be able to get back online through my connection, but then in about 15 minutes it'd do it all over again. I found out from some forums that the network discovery thing was only 1/2 programmed so it wasn't in the beta...

Anyways, the D2 no disk thing from Blizzard works great in Vista.
