It's just annoyed me slightly, but does the game randomise what magic mods/ sets/ uniques, when you open the gamble screen or when you actually make the purchase?

It's just if its the former I will be saddend by all those possibly great spawns that were never purchased and will always wonder what that mysterious ring was lol.

This question is just for ease of mind as opposed to any rational use.
Anyone know?

upon purchase the item is rolled.

if the game did not do this some type of sniffing prog could tell you everything and there wouldnt be much of a gamble.
and that was indeed how gamble worked a long time back,, blizz put a stop to that
