I have had several sorcs but never an ES sorc, so I thought I would ask here before I made her and then had to remake her. If I use a +3 es insight staff on switch to cast ES I would have 45% mana sorb after + skills from gear. I was wondering what would be the proper life/mana ratio for 45% mana sorb. Would I need my my life/mana ratio to be 55/45? Thanks for taking the time to read my post and have a great day Very Happy

Your question is kinda confusing for me but I'm tired at the moment, I'll answer to the best of my ability.

It is always better to have more mana than life obviously on an es sorc. I'd aim for about 800 life (no less than 700 is advised) and at least 1.5k mana (no less than 1.2k is advised). 45% sorb almost doubles your life, but only so long as you have enough mana to absorb it, and as such you'll be wanting as much mana as possible to be able to take as many hits as possible.

i had a decent mb es/fb sorc something like 900life/1.5k mana and the only time i'd use es was against necros and bow zons, don't use it against any ele characters as it drains your mana so fast and it'll do more harm than good.
