Soo I decided to try out a Cruel Matriarchal Bow of Evisceration on my mld zon. Stats are 300ed/63max/2 soc. (old dupe bow i believe) so i decided to socket it with ed/max jools, since i dont need ias. I had a 25ed/13 max jool i decided to use as a tester/temp.

when i socketed bow, stats are now

325ed
13 max.

it doesnt show the original 63 max. however my lcs did go up about 180 max damage after i socketed.

Im guessing its just a game glitch, since im not familiar with old cruel weapons or the socketing of weapons for that matter.

should i not use ed/max jools in this bow? should i go for ed/min or should i just get over the fact that i cant show it off. =(

yeah, socketing items with +max dmg often get a display glitch when you put in a jewel with +max dmg. dont worry, all the damage is actually there

edit: how much does the damage of the bow change? that'll be the best indicator of whether or not its just a display bug or an actual bug

maybe test it in single player so you dont waste too many jewels/hels?

you would have a hell of a time trying to trade that now though :/ Unless you hel'd out the jewel, it would be almost impossible to prove it had 63 max to start with. You probably wont trade it ever though anyways Cool

The bow would still be called: Cruel Matriarchal Bow of Evisceration

Evisceration meaning: +41 to +63 Maximum Damage
So you could just explain that the +63 max doesn't show up because of the glitch.
