pretty much. I was looking for some new boots yesterday and what i needed was +3dex and some res and some frw or fhr and i got some +2 with all the other stuff i wanted. i nearly shat my pants

Its also good to keep in mind how cow lvl works.

One(the only?) way you won't be able to open cows anymore is when someone kills the king for the first time, also know as virgin kill. Aaand party doesn't affect it at all, the only thing that matters is if the char is inside or outside the portal.
For example, if some guy does the virgin kill and you are inside the cow lvl and unpartied.. well... you can start calling him names.

I've read this on some forum(probally amazon basin) and done some testing, like killing king while partied and the everybody still could open it on NG.
