Filling:

1 and 2/3 cups mixed veg
1 cup cubed Tofu
8 oz Spicy V8 juice
1 cup de-shelled peanuts
3 oz hot Salsa

Crust:
1 cup unbleached Flour
1/2 cup Soy Milk

Mix up the filling and put it into an ungreased 9'' pie plate
spread the dough over the top, and mix up a bit more into tube shapes, and place over the pie crust in the shape of the letter "A", symbolizing our never ending resistance to the omnicidal system that perverts our lives~

pre-heat your oven to 400 farenheit. Once heated, bake the pie for between 30 and 35 minutes.
Serve hot and enjoy! Very Happy (i like mine with a bit of mustard and horseraddish ^^; )

i'm not a vegan but i do like trying new foods, especially in the pie form. Wink
however, i'm not a huge fan ov V8, would V8 Splash work as well? if so, what flavor would you recommend, if any?
also, when you say mixed vegetables, i'm assuming that we can pick our favorite, right?
of course i would have to wait until either thanksgiving of winter break to try this, i don't have access to a stove at college.

Well the full definition of an instinct can be broken down into 3 parts. In order for the difinition to be fulfilled all three parts of the definition must be fulfilled....

Definition: An unlearned, Innate complet of behaviour patters (1), that imerges through maturation (2), and is universal within a species (3).

most things human being do is learned, and as for those who are unlearned such as breathing is not a complex of behaviours and is a bodily function such as seeing that is not an instinct but simply a function.

Also what human beings do have which is often confused with instincts are Drives.

Drives: an intitial impulse motivating oe to do something to reduce tention and discomfort. such as hunger, fatigue, sex etc.

The main difference between a drive and an instinct is one of the main reasons human beings have no instincts. Anything you could "think of as being an instinct" is actually a drive. the main difference between the two being that a drive is an impulse that drives you to do something, but it can be controlled, while as an instinct is compulsive and you cannot stop youself from doing it because it is imbeded into your system.

Also one key thing is that it must be universal within a species....thus all human beings have to have the exact same response or "instinctual behaviour" given the same situations, which they dont.

Also this "behaviour cannot be learnt" for example if an infant is left to raise itself it will never know what to eat or drink to sustain itself. If it does find something to eat it is due to the drive, not to instinct if you take the difinitions into consideration

Donno of that makes sence i can elaborate Confused

Also made the pie Smile was good thnx

edit: if this doesnt make sence to you, bear with me i just work up
