HI kids,

I've started leveling my bone necro. My question is, is a point in Weaken worth it? It seems like a great deal for 1 point. However, I won't have great gear so I won't be rolling with uber +skills, so I'm wondering if I'll need the synergy damage.

Just remember that you can always find a +spear or spirit head with weaken or other curses on it, too.

West NL. That's where all my wealth is, and JohnDoe's massive giveaway finally put me at "LLD critical mass".. the point where I have too much decent-to-good LLD gear to ignore it any more. Very Happy

Weaken is pretty ineffective... a lot of people have misconceptions on how it works.

When it says -33% damage, it means -33% ED and NOT -33% total damage.

For example, if your opponent is a charger, and has lvl 20 charge for like 1000 ED, weaken will bring the ED from charge from 1000 ED to 967 ED. If a zealot has 500 ED, they'll be brought down to 467 ED. Same with barbs and mastery, etc. In other words, weaken is pretty worthless and does closer to 3% damage reduction than 33%.

Also, don't spend a real point on any curses you can get on a switch necro head... you want to put as many skill points as you can into the synergies for spirit/spear.

ww barbs often have -%ed or close to 0, it might be good for dueling them. but in any regard, its not worth a point in
